How can we book a game?

All bookings can be made by phone, email or on our online booking platform, via our secure payment system (soon available ...).

 
What types of payment are accepted?
We accept payments by credit card (Carte Bleue, Visa, Mastercard) and Paypal.
 
What is the minimum age to participate?
Our game, The treasure of Charlemagne is accessible from 12 years-old onwards. However, players under the age of 16 must be accompanied by at least one adult. We recommend that children under the age of 16 do not represent the majority of the team, the riddle is hard and the reflection is designed for adults, even if the children will help a lot finding things in the search of clues, certain principles will not be accessible to them intellectually.

How big should the teams be?
The game The Treasure of Charlemagne is designed for teams of 3 to 8 players.
 
So, isn't it too easy for groups of 8?
At 8, your first enemy will be team cohesion, you will have to channel the information, to choose the best solution among the constant influx of ideas from 8 "boiling" brains! In short, at 8, the difficulty will be different but equally present.
 
Are there any physical tasks during the game?
No, there are no physical tasks during the game, nor a situation where you have to use physical strength.
 
Is there a need for specific knowledge in oenology during the game?
No specific oenological knowledge is necessary, other than logical understanding, creativity and above all, a good team spirit.
 
Are there scary moments during the game?
No, the game is not designed to scare you but the atmosphere can be deliciously scary sometimes!
 
How long do we have to plan?
Each game lasts about 90 minutes including briefing, game and debriefing.
 
How do we get to the Escape Game - The Treasure of Charlemagne?
Our Escape Game is located at Château Monconseil-Gazin, 15 route de Compostelle, 33390 Plassac, 10 minutes from Blaye and its Citadel registered with the World Heritage of UNESCO.

When should we arrive?
All members of the team are requested to arrive at the reserved time. The game time is 60 minutes but we do a briefing of 10-15 minutes before and 10-15 minutes after.

 

What happens if we are late?
The game takes 60 minutes and the next team starts right after you. If you arrive late, you will have less than 60 minutes to solve the puzzles and it will be more complicated! We ask you to arrive at the time indicated when booking.
 
Will we really be locked in the room?
Yes, however an emergency key located next to the door allows you to leave the room at any time in case of emergency. In addition, a game master follows you in real time via video throughout the game and can intervene if necessary.
 
Are we filmed?
The room is equipped with cameras to facilitate the game and allow the game master to follow you. However, no video or audio recording takes place.
 
In which language can we play?
Our Escape Game is available in French and English.
 
Can we change or cancel our reservation?
Please contact us by email or phone at least 48 hours in advance for any changes to your booking. We will try to find the most suitable solution!
 
Can we offer a play session to a friend?
We do not have a gift card yet but we can make a reservation for your family and friends. Please contact us by email or phone for any information.
